Terms of service

The service

budgetSEO tracks Google rankings, researches keywords, summarizes competitors, and reports AI visibility for the sites on your account. The same account can be read by an AI client through the MCP server at /api/mcp. Creating an account means you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

Plans and lookup credits

Free is $0 and includes 15 tracked keywords on 1 project. Starter is $9 per month. Pro is $39 per month. Current limits are on the pricing page. Rank checks do not spend lookup credits.

A live keyword search costs 6 credits, a check of keywords you name costs 2, a domain overview costs 4, and a backlink summary costs 3. A result already cached from the last few days is free. AI keyword research is a separate allowance on Starter and Pro, not a lookup credit.

The MCP server

Connect an AI client only to your own account. Keep personal access tokens private. Do not use the server to reach another customer's data, to scrape beyond the tools we publish, or to overload the endpoint. Read tools do not spend lookup credits. Paid tools spend the same credits as the same action in the app, and they should run only after you confirm them.

Rankings

A ranking is the measured organic Google position in the top 100 for the country, language, and device you set. It is a measurement of that result, not a promise of traffic or of a future position.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan in the billing portal. The account then continues on the Free plan, and the project data stays. Email support@budgetseo.ai if you want the account deleted.
