Who we are

budgetSEO runs budgetSEO.ai. Questions about this policy go to support@budgetseo.ai.

Account

We store the email address you use to sign in, through Supabase Auth. You can sign in with email and password or with Google. We use that address to run the account, send product email, and identify you when an AI client connects.

Project data

For each project we store the domain, tracked keywords, ranking history, competitors, AI visibility results, and the state of recommendations (done, dismissed, or snoozed). That data is the product. It stays in your account.

Connected AI clients

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other clients sign in with OAuth. You can revoke a grant on Connect AI. Scripts use a personal access token. The token is shown once. We store only its SHA-256 hash, plus a short prefix so you can recognize it.

We do not store the conversation you have in Claude or ChatGPT. A tool call writes to your account only when it changes that account, such as tracking a keyword, stopping tracking, remembering a recommendation, or saving keyword research.

Processors

• Supabase stores the account, the project data, and the sign-in session.
• Vercel hosts the site and the MCP server.
• DataForSEO is the licensed source for live Google results, keyword metrics, domain overviews, and backlink summaries. A lookup sends the keyword, domain, country, language, or device that check needs. A result already cached from the last few days is served again without a new call.
• OpenRouter runs AI keyword research. We send the project audience and the research request.
• Stripe handles payment. We do not store card numbers.
• Resend sends account and product email to the address on the account.
• PostHog records product analytics for signed-in use of the app, including session replay.

How long we keep it

We keep account and project data while the account exists. Email support@budgetseo.ai to ask us to delete the account. Revoke an AI client or a personal access token on Connect AI when you want that client to stop. We do not sell personal information.
